Located in the heart of Greensboro, NC, Friends Homes—a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC)—offers a serene escape from city life through with lush greenery and picturesque walking paths throughout the property. The $57 million expansion on the West Campus included the addition of 54 villa apartments, 8 two-bedroom townhomes, and 11 three-bedroom cottages. A new 33,000 sq ft Wellness Center and Bistro were also introduced, offering enhanced fitness options, a sports court, outdoor dining, and a central courtyard. The central courtyard features multiple walking paths, gathering areas, and landscape and water features for residents to enjoy. On the Guilford Campus, a $10 million expansion included the addition of 20 one-story townhomes and the realignment of the front entry to improve accessibility and reduce traffic through neighboring areas. In addition, a new connector road with an engineered wood bridge over an existing stream was added to link the West Campus to the Guildford Campus.
