His experience has been key in building Stimmel’s portfolio and culture. Kelway has been with Stimmel since 1998.

Christy’s approach of bringing fresh, innovative ideas and designs to our clients is an essential part of Stimmel’s ever-growing presence in multi-faceted downtown economic development projects. Her experience in both New Urbanism and Neotraditional design styles ranges from master planning to streetscape and urban design to public space design to construction observation. She has a passion for engaging the senses through the limitless diversity of plants used within a landscape. Christy has been with Stimmel since 2008.

Neal, Director of Civil Engineering, spent nearly six years in general construction before entering the infrastructure development side of the industry. Driven to bring each client’s vision to fruition, he has expertise across commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, mixed-use, and residential projects. His familiarity with local and state guidelines, principles, codes, regulations, and jurisdictional review requirements ensures that plans translate smoothly to development in the most timely and cost-effective manner. Neal has been with Stimmel since 1998.

Leading Stimmel’s Charlotte office, Dan has experience partnering with both private and public clients to develop character-driven, innovative solutions. With a lens towards ecosystem stewardship and acknowledgement of each project’s long-term imprint on the land, he creates exceptionally engaging spaces from concept to construction—site analysis, site design, land entitlements, and construction documentation. His attention to detail, thorough design process, and management skills are an asset to both his clients and the company. Dan has been with Stimmel since 2018.

Luke is Stimmel’s Director of Land Planning. He works determinedly to understand a client’s business needs and collaborates with them to uncover current development opportunities. His project expertise ranges from healthcare to business parks, to senior living, to commercial/retail, to residential. His work includes site planning, zoning, and board approvals. Relationship focused, he handles all political, municipal, and neighborhood meetings finding balance between client needs, community requests, and city requirements. Luke has been with Stimmel since 2002.

Jessie has worked with a wide range of companies throughout the Southeast. He approaches design collaboratively with clients following jobs from concept to completion: offering due diligence research, preliminary design, submittal preparation, client representation at zoning/variance boards, construction document preparation, permitting of projects, and construction assistance. Relationship driven, he believes successful design comes through innovative thinking paired with intentional understanding of brand standards. Jessie has been with Stimmel since 1996.

Kimberly serves as Director of Landscape Architecture working with commercial, mixed-use, and institutional clients to create courtyards, healing gardens, landscapes, streetscapes, and amenity designs—connecting people of all ages to dynamic outdoor spaces. With great attention to detail, her plans are integrated and informed: she includes elements that are sustainable, creative, and functional while staying within the specific project parameters. Her experience and leadership are key to Stimmel’s award-winning, results-focused design services. Kimberly has been with Stimmel since 1990.
