High Point University’s Cottrell Hall is a 2-story, 43,000 sq ft facility created to assist students who are preparing for job interviews, seeking job opportunities, and looking for ways to diversify their career skills. The Hall houses the Office of Career and Internship Services, Office of Study Abroad, the Center for Entrepreneurship, Service Learning, the Office of Undergraduate Research, and Creative Works. Connected to the Cottrell Center—via a 2,790 sq ft ,150-foot bridge—is the 22,223 sq ft outdoor Alumni Avenue Amphitheater that hosts concerts, plays, speakers, and various other events for HPU students. The Amphitheater includes fixed seating for 400 and brick seat walls for an additional capacity of 1,200 people.
