The Quarry at Grant Park includes a dramatic observation pier—nicknamed “The BOOM”—which capitalizes on the natural setting, the quarry water body, and stunning panoramic views. In addition to the observation pier, the park includes: an open 2-acre greenspace, a 1-acre Amphitheater, 3 Overlooks, a 1.25 mile greenway, hydration stations, picnic areas, comfort stations, benches, and bike racks. One of the key features of the park is its connection to the city greenway system: connect to Waughtown Street from the south and access Salem Lake or connect to Long Branch Trail downtown from the north.
