Multi-Family Urban Infill

The new mixed-use development located in the IQ in downtown Winston-Salem is comprised of more than 340 apartment units, approximately 5,000 sq. ft. of retail space & a parking deck with over 850 spaces, all on 3.4 acres. As part of an agreement with the IQ, Grubb Properties developed residential housing & retail spaces wrapped around a shared parking deck, adding to the laboratories, offices, entertainment & common spaces already located at the downtown facility. The project was built on what is now the Innovation Quarter P1 parking lot, between North Patterson Avenue & Chestnut Street, adjacent to Wake Forest Biotech Place. The project is designed to meet growing demand for additional housing units, retail & parking spaces at the Innovation Quarter campus, that is home to approximately 3,100 people working in more than 60 companies & five academic institutions.
