Stimmel Associates is searching for a creative and motivated Landscape Architect in the Charlotte office. As a Landscape Architect, you will be responsible for the design of public and private projects that include parks, recreational, residential, commercial, multi-family, healthcare, university, and industrial projects. Salary is commensurate based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited University.
• Registered Landscape Architect preferred.
• Ability to organize, coordinate and execute landscape architecture assignments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of site design, grading, construction details & planting design.
• Proficiency in freehand sketches, illustration and renderings.
• Computer skills with demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.).
• Excellent written & communication skills.
• Ability to work within a collaborative design team environment.
• Ability to mentor and teach other landscape architecture staff.
• Attend and participate in client meetings.
• Perform construction administration services including RFIs, submittal review, and site visits.
• Portfolio will be required if considered for an interview.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the site engineering for single family and multi-family residential, commercial, healthcare, university, and industrial projects. Salary is commensurate based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
• Minimum of 8 years’ of direct experience in site engineering with 4 years as engineer of record.
• Proficient in site engineering including the design of site layout, grading, erosion control, storm drainage, stormwater management, water, and sanitary sewer.
• Proficient in site permitting with local and state agencies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related degree.
• PE License is required.
• Attend and participate in client meetings.
• Excellent written & communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative team environment.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Hydrology Studio, Newforma, and EPANet 2.2 experience is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years’ of direct experience in civil site design.
• Work directly with a Project Engineer to assist with the engineering design and completion of construction documents for site development.
• Prepare construction documents, calculations, and reports.
• Proficient in civil site design that includes site layout, grading, erosion control, storm drainage, stormwater management, water, and sanitary sewer.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Excellent written & communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
