HPU Cottrell Hall & Amphitheater is a 2-story, 43,000 sq. ft. facility hub of activity for students preparing for job interviews, seeking job opportunities & looking for ways to diversify their career skills. The Center houses the Office of Career & Internship Services, Office of Study Abroad, the Center for Entrepreneurship, Service Learning, the Office of Undergraduate Research & Creative Works & much more.
Connected to the Cottrell Center via bridge is the 22,223 sq. ft. outdoor Alumni Avenue amphitheater that hosts concerts, plays, speakers and various other events for HPU students. Stimmel was hired to provide design for both the 2,790 sq. ft. 150 foot bridge connection and the amphitheater which includes fixed seating for 400 and brick seat walls for an additional capacity of 1,200 people. It serves as a connecting point between Cottrell Hall and the Centennial Square II complex.
