Stimmel Associates, PA has been selected to design and engineer the proposed downtown ballpark development located between I-40, Broad Street and Peters Creek Parkway.  The phased, mixed-use 28+ acre development will consist of the baseball stadium, office, retail, restaurants, residential units and parking.  Groundbreaking for Phase One of the project began in the Fall 2007 with completion scheduled for the Spring of 2010.  The new stadium will be home to the Class A Minor League Winston-Salem Warthogs and will seat approximately 5,500 spectators.
