Engineering Designer:

Stimmel Associates, P.A. is seeking a highly motivated, qualified professional to join our dynamic collaborative team. Candidates must possess an Associates or related degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum five years experience in land development engineering design including healthcare, higher education, commercial and industrial site design.  Applicants must be proficient in grading, erosion controls, piped and open channel storm drainage systems, underground stormwater storage systems, wet detention ponds, bio-retention systems, permeable pavement systems, rainwater harvesting systems, sewage collection systems, water distribution systems, horizontal and vertical roadway designs.  Experience in dam and pump station designs, Low Impact Design (LID) and LEED projects a plus.  Proficiency in AutoCAD 2010 and/or Civil 3D 2010, Microsoft Word and Excel, Hydraflow Storm and Hydraflow Hydrographs (or equivalents) with an understanding of rainfall/ runoff hydrology and pipeline hydraulics is required.  Knowledge of ordinances, design codes and standards, permitting requirements and processes applicable to land development projects is desirable.
